The EXIT maintenance check for your go kart

Race monsters beware! Is racing around on your go kart your favourite thing to do and have you already covered many kilometers? Then your go kart may be due for a maintenance check! If you give your go kart a regular maintenance check, you can continue to race around safely for years to come. Use the EXIT Toys checklist so you can safely hit the road again:

Check 1: tyres

With sturdy go kart tyres you can race smoothly and safely. Do you have a go kart with air tyres? Check the air pressure of the tyres and if necessary pump them up. Use an air pressure gauge to determine the tire pressure. This should be between the 1 - 1.5 bar. The tyres of the EXIT Foxy don’t require this kind of attention: these solid EVA-tyres cannot lose any air or get tyre leaks. Have you raced around so much that the tyres of the go kart need replacing? For new EXIT go kart tyres, EXIT Toys is the pace to be.

Check 2: sturdiness

Get your toolkit ready, because it is time to tighten the screws and bolts of the go kart. Are the chair and steering wheel still securely in place after all that racing? Ask your parents to help you tighten the screws. And if you discover, during the maintenance check, that some parts of the EXIT go kart need replacing? Get new EXIT Toys parts so that your go kart will be ready for use for years to come.

Check 3: the right size

Have you grown a lot lately? Check to see if the chair is still in a good position. If you have grown taller, you can easily adjust the chair of the EXIT go kart by moving it backwards. When you really don’t fit on it anymore, then it may be time for a larger go kart. Luckily EXIT Toys has go karts suitable for all ages.

Check 4: horn

Beep beep! Does the go kart have a horn or an EXIT soundbox? Check to see if all the sounds are still working. If the soundbox is no longer active, just replace the batteries so that everyone can hear that the coolest racer of the block is up and running again.

Check 5: lights

Not entirely unimportant when you do a maintenance check: the lights. Check to see if the headlights and the indicators of the Spider or Cheetah go kart still work properly. With a set of new batteries, broken lights can often be repaired. EXIT tip: Does your go kart not have lights? With LED lights you will be nice and visible on the road when it’s dark outside.

Check 6: finishing touch

Time for the grand final! To make your go kart shine again you can give it a good clean. Turn your drive into a real car wash with the garden hose and some soap and clean away.
