Ordering the trampoline
What are the differences between the EXIT Allure and Lotus trampolines?
The Allure and Lotus trampolines differ in terms of their look and material. Do you like a classic look than an EXIT Allure is the perfect choose. This is a rock-solid trampoline with W-shaped legs. Here you have a choice of models on legs, inground, round or rectangular. The round Lotus trampoline has a unique look because of its L-shaped legs. These legs make this trampoline extremely stable.
Both trampoline series are available in a Classic and Premium version. The difference is in the use of other parts, like the springs, the protective edge, and the safety net.
What is the difference between W legs and L legs on a trampoline?
The difference in legs mostly involves the look of the trampoline. Trampolines with W legs have a classic look, while trampolines with the elegant L legs have a unique and modern look. Both types of legs provide a rock-solid and stable trampoline; you can simply choose the one that suits you best.

I see there are different sizes in trampolines, can you explain why?
The trampoline has standard measurements (for example ø 305cm and ø 366cm) and also a maximum size and a jump surface. The maximum size is the size you need to take into account when you want to know if the trampoline fits in your garden. The jump surface is the space left on the jump mat after the springs have been covered by the padding. So, that is the part you can use to jump on.
Can I also order separate padding for my trampoline?
Yes, we have spare parts available for all our outdoor play equipment. Be aware though that when buying new padding, it is important to choose the correct trampoline series and size. Can’t find the spare part that you need? Let us know and we will be please to help you order the right part.
Note: EXIT paddings are only suitable for EXIT trampolines, not for trampolines of other brands.
How do I measure the length of my trampoline springs?
You can measure the trampoline spring with a measuring tape or rod. Detach the spring from the trampoline and measure the total length of the spring from the outside of the hook.
Placing the trampoline
How much space do I have to keep free around the trampoline?
For all trampolines, we recommend keeping a space of two metres free around the trampoline. That prevents children from accidentally knocking against walls, hedges, fences or other objects when they bounce on the trampoline.
Can I dig in my trampoline on legs?
No, you cannot dig in a trampoline on legs, because the frame is not the same as a ground trampoline. The legs of the ground trampoline are shorter and the padding has a ventilation system, so that the air can escape underneath the trampoline while it is being jumped on. Read more about the differences between the ground trampolines and the trampolines on legs in our blog.
Can I turn my ground trampoline into a trampoline on legs?
Assembling the trampoline
Can I convert my EXIT inground trampoline without a safety net to an inground trampoline with a safety net?
This is only possible for the EXIT Dynamic groundlevel trampolines. Do you want to convert this EXIT trampoline? Then contact our customer service. They will be happy to help you order the required parts.
Can I convert my EXIT inground trampoline with safety net to an inground trampoline without safety net?
This differs per trampoline series. Do you have an inground trampoline such as the EXIT Silhouette, EXIT Black Edition or EXIT Allure? Then you cannot convert it to an inground trampoline without a safety net; the connectors of these trampolines continue to stick out without a safety net.
Do you have a EXIT Dynamic groundlevel trampoline with safety net? In that case, conversion is possible. You will not be bothered by protruding connectors; these can be removed from the top rail. However, it is important to provide a shock-absorbent surface 1 meter around the jumping area. Think for example of safety tiles. These can be ordered from EXIT Toys in combination with the EXIT Dynamic groundlevel trampoline.
In a rectangular trampoline, can I turn the safety net so that the entrance is at a different location?
No, that is not possible. The fixing holes of the safety net and the cover are made in such a manner that the safety net can fit the padding in only one way.
I have a Silhouette, Black Edition, Tiggy junior, PeakPro or Dynamic trampoline. How do I thread the cord through the foot protection system on my trampoline to attach it to the trampoline bed. Watch our instruction video.
You attach the foot protection system of these trampolines by threading the supplied cord through every fifth hole of the net using a needle (you skip four holes each time). Then thread the cord through a hook on the trampoline bed. Pull the cord tight at regular intervals. If you don't do this, you will notice that you are short of cord at the end. Repeat this until you get all the way around. Watch our instruction video to see exactly how it works.
Maintaining the trampoline
How can I determine that my trampoline is safe?
To ensure the safety of the trampoline it is important to regularly check the trampoline for any damaged or loose parts, so that you can replace them on time. Consider the following items:
- Jump mat: is the jump mat still taut?
- Frame: are all tubes firmly connected and are the frame connectors still positioned where they belong?
- Jump springs: are the springs still tensed and are they undamaged?
- Padding: are the springs still completely covered by the padding and is the foot protection system still mounted correctly?
How do I clean my trampoline?
Depending on how dirty your trampoline has become, you can use a dry cloth or a damp cloth with cold to lukewarm water. Do not clean the trampoline with hot water, cleaning agents or other solvents.
The padding of my trampoline sucks up water. Why is that?
The foam in the padding of EXIT trampolines needs to be breathable to prevent moulds from growing in it. The padding has therefore got ventilation holes which not only let in the water, but also ensure that it evaporates again. At the bottom there are tiny holes to get rid of the excess water.
Why does the EXIT trampoline cover have holes?
Our trampoline covers protect the trampoline against weather influences, such as rain, snow, ice, UV rays and against dirt, such as leaves from trees. But what is the purpose of the holes in the cover? These holes ensure good drainage, preventing accumulation of water or snow on the trampoline.
Can my trampoline remain outside during the winter?
Yes! You don’t need to dismantle the EXIT trampoline completely in the autumn. However, because during the winter you will be using the trampoline less often or not at all, we advice you to store the padding and the safety net. In addition, you can cover the frame, springs and jump mat with a trampoline cover for optimal preservation of the trampoline.
Watch out in case of rain or snow!
Lengthy periods of rain or snow will weigh down on the jump mat, which could slacken the springs. In the long run, this will deteriorate the bouncing quality of the trampoline. To prevent this as much as possible, our covers have drain holes that ensure the outflow of water. However, when large quantities of rain or snow accumulate on cover, the holes might freeze or get clogged, forming a puddle on the trampoline. Keep this in mind and remove standing water/snow from the trampoline immediately.
EXIT tip: Do you have a safety net that you store during the winter? Use covering caps (included in the package) to cover the openings created when removing the safety net poles. That prevents dirt from getting into the trampoline.
Is my trampoline wind or storm resistant?
In principle, the trampoline can take some wind gusts. However, if fierce winds or a storm is expected, it is wise to take measures.
If the wind is fierce, we advise you to anchor the trampoline to the ground. For trampolines on feet, we have a special EXIT trampoline anchoring set. If you expect a very serious storm, we advise you to store the trampoline.
In case of very fierce winds or a storm, we advise you to store our in-the-ground or ground-level trampolines or to fasten them using lashing straps.
Trampoline safety tiles
How are safety tiles delivered to me?
Our safety tiles are delivered to your home by Dachser on one pallet. Please take into account that the tiles weigh about 8 kilograms each.
How should I place the EXIT Toys safety tiles?
The number, type and distribution of safety tiles differs per trampoline series and size. In the manual of your EXIT trampoline, you can find how to place the tiles around your trampoline. You can find manuals for all EXIT trampolines on our website under the product.
Do safety tiles need maintenance?
No, as soon as the safety tiles lay around the trampoline, you won't have to worry about them anymore.
In addition, the trampoline will be safe.
How do I prevent dirt from getting between the holes in safety tiles?
There is no possibility of dirt forming between the holes of the safety tiles, because these holes are filled with filler sand. Grass will grow in between so that eventually one whole will be created with the grass mat. The holes in the tiles will therefore not remain open.
Do you offer filler sand for safety tiles?
No, EXIT inground trampolines with safety tiles are not supplied with filling sand.
Are the safety tiles UV-resistant?
Yes, our safety tiles are UV resistant. The colour of the tiles will remain green. After a while, the tiles will also be out of sight: grass will grow through the holes of the tiles.
Is it possible to mow grass when you have safety tiles?
Yes, in the safety tiles of EXIT Toys there are holes through which grass grows. You can easily mow over the tiles with the lawnmower.
Trampoline and robotic mower
Do robotic mowers and trampolines go together?
Yes, for trampolines on legs this is perfectly possible with a EXIT robot mower stop. Do you have an EXIT Lotus or Elegant trampoline? Then order the robotic mower stop for Lotus and Elegant trampolines. You can also place wooden boards around the trampoline or stretch perimeter wire around it. This prevents the robotic mower from ending up underneath the trampoline. With the robotic mower stops from EXIT Toys, the robotic mower can mow closer to the trampoline than with planks or perimeter wire
Do EXIT Lotus and EXIT Elegant trampolines go together with my robotic mower?
Yes, EXIT Toys has a robot mower stop especially for Lotus and Elegant trampolines. With this robotic mower stop, the L-shaped legs of the trampoline are not overlooked. Do you have another EXIT trampoline? Then you can use the robot-mower stop M or the robot-mower-stop-L depending on the distance between the W-legs.
